Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has tested negative for Covid-19 in his fourth test.
"The minister is in good health," said the ministry's Public Relations Officer Sharif Mahmud while confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune after Tuesday midnight.
Earlier on Saturday, the home minister and a senior secretary tested positive for coronavirus in their first test at IEDCR.
However, both of them tested negative after another test at the Combined Police Hospital in Dhaka's Rajarbagh the next day. A third test was conducted at the DMFR Molecular Lab & Diagnostics, where the minister also tested negative for coronavirus.
Later, the IEDCR conducted another test to confirm the minister was Covid-19 negative.
