Day temperature may fall by 1-2°C and night temperature may fall slightly over the country
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur over different parts of the country.
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions due to the well-marked low over the Northwest Bay and adjoining West-central Bay,” a BMD bulletin said on Thursday.
South-west monsoon has withdrawn from north-western part of the country. Conditions are becoming favorable for further withdrawal of south-west monsoon from remaining parts of Bangladesh.
The Met office said Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and many places over Rangpur division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country.

The country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 35°C at Dinajpur, and the lowest one on Thursday was recorded 21.6°C at Tetulia.
The sun will set at 5:26 pm on Thursday and will rise at 6:00am on Friday in Dhaka.
