A Bangladeshi migrant has been gunned down by miscreants in the city of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The shooting, which took place on Friday evening, was captured by a nearby CCTV camera and the footage went viral on social media on Saturday.

According to expats and family sources, Rayhan went to Brazil a few years ago and used to work as a taxi driver.

The 1 minute 43 second CCTV footage that went viral showed Rayhan dropping off a woman after parking his white taxi on the side of a road. Later, three miscreants approached the taxi and shot him indiscriminately.

Although the motive of the killing could not be confirmed, Brazilian police believe Rayhan was shot during an attempted mugging by the three miscreants.
