Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over the northern part of the country in the next 24 hours.
It also predicted light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at most places over Rangpur division, at many places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said a met office bulletin on Sunday.
Country’s highest temperature on Saturday was recorded at 34° Celsius in Rajshahi and Sunday’s lowest temperature at 22.3° C at Tetulia.
The highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am on Sunday was recorded at 267 millimetres (mm) in Rangpur.
The sun sets at 5.49pm on Sunday and rises at 5.49am on Monday in the capital.
