Brig Gen Mominur Rahman Mamun appointed as new IG Prisons

The government has appointed Brigadier General Md Mominur Rahman Mamun as the new Inspector General (IG) of Prisons, who replaced Brig Gen AKM Mostofa Kamal Pasha. 

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order in this regard on Wednesday.

Brig Gen Mominur Rahman Mamun has been serving as the chief health officer of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).

The Ministry of Public Administration order says Brig Gen Pasha has been sent back to the army.

Meanwhile, Brig Gen Md Jubaidur Rahman has been appointed as the new Chief Health Officer of the DNCC.
