Their Youtube channel Just Go is live now
Stamford University student Shipra Rani Devnath, one of the companions of slain Major (retd) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan, has said in a Facebook post that she will not let anyone shatter the dream Sinha and her teammates had together to launch a Youtube channel about the scenic beauty of Bangladesh.
“We will not back out. We will continue our adventure till our last breath,” said Shipra.
Shipra made the statement in a pre-recorded Facebook video posted in the Facebook page of their Youtube channel Just Go.
Shipra said in the video that they wanted to launch their Youtube channel on August 15.
She also said she had noticed there were already some channels under the name Just Go and therefore they had to go live before the 15th.
“There were some unexpected turns of events but we will not back out and watch our dreams being shattered,” she said.
“We lost a lot while chasing our dreams. This is why we need to keep going,” she added.
Shipra also said Sinha was a very intelligent man and he was looking after the whole team.
Major (retd) Sinha was killed in police firing at Baharchhara police check-post on July 31.
Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous, elder sister of Sinha, later filed a case with the Teknaf Senior Judicial Magistrate Court over the killing.
Shipra along with Sifat, another companion of Sinha, were arrested after police filed separate cases against them. Shipra secured bail on Sunday while Sifat was released on bail on Monday.
Major (retd) Sinha along with Sifat and Shipra had gone to Cox’s Bazar to make a documentary film on travelling.
