Italy recently banned entry from 13 countries including Bangladesh over coronavirus fears.
A total of 1,455 Bangladesh nationals returned home from six countries on six separate flights in the last 24 hours.
The five countries are Saudi Arabia, Iraq, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mali, Italy, and Maldives. Most of the returnees were stuck in these countries owing to the travel restrictions enforced due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
