The ruling party leader is likely to be admitted to the Bumrungrad International Hospital
Awami League Presidium member and former home minister Advocate Sahara Khatun has left Dhaka for Thailand for better treatment.
An aircraft carrying her departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 1:15pm on Monday, reports BSS.
Advocate Anisur Rahman, personal assistant secretary to the Awami League leader, is accompanying her.
Earlier, the 77-year-old lawmaker of Dhaka 18 constituency was released from the capital's United Hospital around 11:20am.
On June 2, she had been admitted to the hospital with allergy, fever and other pre-existing conditions.
On June 19, she was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital after her condition deteriorated.
Her former personal assistant and relative Majibur Rahman said the ruling party leader is likely to be admitted to the Bumrungrad International Hospital in Thailand.
Her physical condition remains stable, he added.
