Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Bangladesh Army will support Banglalink in distributing the aid among 21,000 severely affected households
Banglalink employees have donated a sum equivalent to a day of their salaries to aid 21,000 households amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The donation is part of the second phase of Banglalink’s relief campaign intended to help the destitute amid the crisis.
Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Bangladesh Army will support Banglalink in distributing the aid among 21,000 severely affected households.
Chief Executive Officer of Banglalink Erik Aas announced the initiative at a virtual meeting on Thursday. The meeting was also participated by Major General Sajjadul Haque, BSP, SUP, afwc, psc., Chairman, Sena Kalyan Sangstha, Brigadier General Ohidul Alam Chowdhury, PPM, SPP, ndc, psc, DG, RED, Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Sangstha, Taimur Rahman, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink, and Muniruzzaman Sheikh, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, Banglalink.
"During this difficult time, we need to stay united and work in collaboration to ensure the social security of the economically affected communities. Banglalink and its employees have shown its commitment to serving the society once again by taking this initiative. We are pleased to partner with Banglalink for this noble cause," said Major General Sajjadul Haque.
