The national flag carrier will operate a charter flight for stranded non-resident Bangladeshis
Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate a charter flight to Rome to fly Bangladeshis, with valid resident permit of Italy, who are stranded due to travel restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The national flag carrier said in a web post on Thursday that flight BG-4105 will depart Dhaka on June 12 at 1.45pm local time and is expected to arrive Rome the same day at 7.30pm local time.
“This chartered flight will carry Bangladeshi stranded Nationals, who are holding valid resident card of Italy as per list certified by MOFA and Embassy of Italy in Bangladesh,” reads the notification on Biman website.
Passengers have been requested to book the flight ticket from Biman’s sales outlet in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.
