He is survived by his wife and daughter
Dr Mahbubur Rahman, a teacher of mass communication and journalism department at Rajshahi University, died early Tuesday. He was 36.
According to university sources, Mahbubur Rahman suffered a stroke on September 21, 2019. For a long time after, he received treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Medical University (BSMMU).
He also received treatment in India for a while before returning to his sister’s house in Dhaka’s Basabo, where he suddenly fell ill on Monday night.
Initially, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. But later, when his condition deteriorated, he was taken to a private hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He will be buried in his home district in Noakhali.
Mahbubur Rahman is survived by his wife and daughter.
Meanwhile, his fellow faculty members of the mass communication and journalism department expressed their deep condolences at his untimely death.
