Confirmed infections from coronavirus have been reported from 15 districts, with most patients reported from Dhaka, Directorate General of Health Services [DGHS] has confirmed.
A total of 123 people have been found positive for coronavirus from 15 different districts, including 64 patients from Dhaka, DGHS director general Abul Kalam Azad said in an online media briefing on Monday.
Narayanganj is in second position with 23 cases, and Madaripur is in third position.
Five cases were reported in Gaibandha, three in Jamalpur, two in Chittagong, one each in Comilla, Chuadanga, Gazipur, Shariatpur, Cox's Bazar, Narshingdi, Moulvibazar, Sylhet, and Rangpur.
Four people were also found to be infected in four upazilas outside of Dhaka metropolitan.
So far, 123 people across Bangladesh have been confirmed with Covid-19 with 12 deaths.
