Night temperatures to fall slightly

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to Wednesday morning

While day temperatures may fall slightly over the eastern part of Bangladesh, the night temperatures all over the country may fall slightly.

The met office on Tuesday also predicted mainly dry weather in most parts with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 9am on Wednesday.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to Wednesday morning, said a met office bulletin issued Tuesday morning, reports BSS.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the districts of Madaripur, Tangail, Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Jessore and Chudanga and it may continue and spread, said the bulletin.

The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 29.7 °C in Teknaf of Chittagong division, while Tuesday’s minimum temperature is 07.2°C in Tetulia of Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 5:37pm on Tuesday, and rises at 6:43am on Wednesday in Dhaka.
