As many as 2,047,771 students are expected to sit for the secondary school completion tests this year at 3,512 centres across Bangladesh
The revised schedules for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams have been published.
The education ministry pushed back the first test to February 3 from the previously announced February 1.
However, the revised schedule has been published on Sunday, said Dhaka Education Board Chairman Md Ziaul Haque, who also heads the Inter-Education Board Sub-Committee.
The previous announcement by the ministry came on Saturday, a minute before the Election Commission's announcement to push back the Dhaka City polls voting on February 1 from January 30 as it coincided with the Hindu festival of Saraswati Puja.
As many as 2,047,771 students are expected to sit for the secondary school completion tests this year at 3,512 centres across Bangladesh.
According to the revised schedule, theory exams are to be held from February 3-27, while practical exams will take place from February 29 to March 5.
