Mild cold wave is sweeping over Ishwardi, Kurigram, Panchagarh and Kushtia regions
Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted that weather may remain dry in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am Sunday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over Bangladesh. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning, it may continue till afternoon at places,” said a Met office bulletin issued Sunday morning.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over Ishwardi, Kurigram, Panchagarh and Kushtia regions, added the bulletin.
However, the night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted that the temperature may rise at the end period.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 25.8°C in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar, while Sunday’s minimum temperature is 9.5°C at Rajarhat in Rangpur district.
The sun sets at 5:30pm on Sunday, and rises at 6:44am on Monday in Dhaka.
