The Defense Wing of Bangladesh Embassy organized a reception at the Hotel Intercontinental in Paris on Thursday.
The program began with rendering the national anthem of Bangladesh while Defence Attaché Brig Gen Md Mohsin conducted it, reports BSS.
They also paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the martyrs of the Liberation War in 1971.
Bangladesh Ambassador to France, Kazi Imtiaz Hossain highlighted the significance of the Armed Forces Day as the main discussant in the program.
About 200 guests were present on the occasion including ambassadors of different countries, senior officers of the France Armed Forces, police, civil society and scores of migrant Bangladeshis, according to the embassy release.
