President Abdul Hamid is scheduled to return home Sunday night, wrapping up his eight-day visit to Japan and Singapore.
A regular flight of Singapore Airlines, carrying the president and his entourage from Singapore will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:40pm, his Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told UNB.

Abdul Hamid reached Singapore on Friday after ending his six-day official visit to Japan from October 20.
On Tuesday, the president joined the enthronement ceremony of Japanese Emperor Naruhito, who formally declared his ascension as Japan's 126th monarch in front of about 2,000 leaders and representatives from 174 countries and regions at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
The 59-year-old emperor ascended the chrysanthemum throne on May 1.
As part of the occasion, the president attended the palace banquet hosted by Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako the same day. He also joined the banquet hosted by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe the following day.
