President returns home from London

He went to London for a health checkup on August 31

President Abdul Hamid has returned home after a health checkup in London. 

A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the president, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10:30am on Monday.

President's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq, Road Transport and Bridges Minister  Obaidul  Quader, acting Dean of Diplomatic Crops, High Commissioner of Turkey in Bangladesh Devrim Ozturk, British High Commissioner Robert Chatterton Dickson, chiefs of the three services, Inspector General of Police, Home Affairs secretary (Protection), secretary (Reconstruction and Reforms) of Cabinet, secretary (maritime) of foreign ministry and other civil and military officials received the President at the VVIP lounge of the airport. 

He went to London on August 31.
