Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a member of banned militant outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir from Dhaka’s Chwakbazar area.
The arrestee was identified as Abul Khayer alias Md Tuhin Islam, 33, RAB sources said on Wednesday.
RAB also recovered a laptop, three mobile phones, a number of leaflets and books from his possession.
Legal action has been taken against the arrestee, the sources said.
