Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance train tickets on July 29
Private bus operators have started selling advance bus tickets for homebound people ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
People were seen waiting in long queues to collect their tickets at Gabtoli and Kalyanpur bus terminals as sale of tickets began at 6am on Friday.
The crowd was thin at Mohakhali bus terminal where tickets of short distance destinations like Mymensingh, Netrakona, Tangail are available.
Besides, tickets of 35 buses are also available through mobile app.
Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance train tickets on July 29. The tickets will be sold at five spots– Kamalapur, Airport, Banani and Tejgaon railway stations and Fulbaria in the capital.
Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated on August 12, depending on the appearance of the moon.
