PSD-Pearabag School from Dhaka won the first place in Group “A” and “B” whereas Music for Development, Shurer Dhara bagged first position in Group “C”
Agami Education Foundation, a sister organisation of Agami Inc., USA, organised a prize giving ceremony on May 4, Saturday, for its third Wall Magazine competition, participated by different AEF supported schools across the country.
The event was held at the AEF office in the capital Dhaka where the guests included teachers, students and representatives from AEF supported schools, executive committee members, and volunteers.
The programme was inaugurated with the welcome speech of AEF executive director Nafisa Khanam.
Later, she gave a presentation stressing on the importance of co-curricular activities and its benefits in the psychomotor and intellectual development of the students.
She also highlighted the AEF opportunities to promote education for under underprivileged children, and narrated the background, judgement process and other related procedures behind the successful completion of the entire contest.
A total of 60 students from 10 AEF supported schools participated in the competition, which was held on the theme of the “Independence Day”.
A total of 27 students received prizes in different groups.

Besides, special prizes were given to four schools for their participation.
The programme was wrapped up with the concluding speech from Mohammed Mosihuzzaman, president of AEF.
