Mild cold wave sweeps over parts of the country

The lowest temperature on Monday was recorded at 7 degree Celsius at Tetulia

A cold wave mild to moderate in intensity is sweeping over the parts of Dinajpur, Tetulia, Dimla, Rajarhat, Rajshahi, Pabna, Badalgachhi, Satkhira, Jessore, Chuadanga, Barisal, Sreemangal, Sitakunda, Mymensingh, Gopalganj and Faridpur. 

It is expected to continue for the next few days, according to a press release by the met office.

The lowest temperature on Monday was recorded at 7 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from late night to Tuesday morning.

The weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. There is also chances of light rain in Cox’s Bazar.

Night temperatures may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius while the day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
