About 68.3% of the total youngvoters haveexpressed their satisfaction over the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said a research group with its report on a study on youngsters’ political views.
“About 68.3% of the young voters said they are satisfied with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s leadership,” researcher Dr Abul Hasnat Miltan said revealing the findings of the survey of CallReady at a press conference at the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Saturday.
He said about 30.2% of the young voters, however, wanted changes in the government while the remaining 1.5% were undecided.
Miltan said the group conducted the survey among students aged between 18 and 24 in 10 educational institutions including Dhaka University, in the capital, and 21 educational institutions in 12 districts across the country.
He said a total of 21 focus group discussions were also held at the educational institutions from October 22 to 30 this year to prepare the report.
