Bangladeshi youth elected executive of Future Youth Summit

The summit will be held on November 16-18 in Malaysia

A Bangladeshi youth, Md Mahady Hasan also known as Soroj Mehedi, has been elected as an executive member (Information and Technology) of Future Youth Summit 2018.

The summit will be organized by the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Centre in partnership with the Commonwealth Youth Council and the Commonwealth Secretariat at Sunway University in Malaysia on November 16-18.

A good number of participants including young leaders, entrepreneurs, social workers, industrial experts, government officials and social workers from different countries of the world will take part in the summit. 

Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland, along with India's eminent scholar and environment activist Vandana Shiva, ministers of several countries including Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan and Ethiopia are expected to attend the event.

“It always gives me a sort of satisfaction to represent our country before the world. The Commonwealth authorities keep their confidence in me and I will try to reward them with all of my efforts and capabilities,” Mehedi said in his reaction. 

Mehedi is currently working as a lecturer of language, communication and culture department at Gono University.
