Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s Senior Pesh Imam Maulana Mizanur Rahman conducted the Eid prayers
President Abdul Hamid offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, along with hundreds of people from all walks of life, at the National Eidgah in Dhaka.
Cabinet members, the chief justice, Supreme Court judges, Parliament members, senior politicians, and high civil and military officials also joined the congregation on the premises of the High Court at 8:30am on Saturday, reports BSS.

President Hamid was greeted by Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon and other officials concerned, when he reached the Eidgah.
The devotees prayed for peace, progress, and welfare of the country and its people, and the wellbeing of Muslims across the world.
They also sought eternal peace for the departed souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country and its people in different democratic movements, particularly during the Liberation War.
After the prayers, President Hamid exchanged Eid greetings with the devotees.
The Eid congregation was held under the auspices of the DSCC. Special arrangements were made for women to offer Eid prayers at the National Eidgah.
