Update : 07 May 2018, 03:45 PM
The government has set office hours during the month of Ramadan from 9am to 3:30pm. The decision was taken at the regular cabinet meeting held Monday, with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam briefed the reporters about the new office timing. He said there would be a 15-minute prayer break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm. Ramadan is likely to begin from the middle of this month depending on the sighting of the moon.
