PM Hasina leads the nation in singing national anthem

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined millions of others across Bangladesh to sing the national anthem on the nation’s 48th Independence Day. She led the nation in singing the national anthem at the main program at Jatiya Shishu Kishore Samabesh at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka around 8am on Monday, reports UNB.

After the event, she accepted salutes from the Samabesh leaders. Later, the prime minister inaugurated the Samabesh by releasing doves and balloons. The government planned to hold the national anthem singing program at 8am across the country and Bangladesh missions abroad to mark Independence Day.
