Zafar Iqbal: I don’t have complaints against anyone
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) Professor Dr Zafar Iqbal on Wednesday said he was not angry at one, nor did he have any complaints. "Those who have gotten involved with terrorism, I hope they come to their senses," the celebrated academic and author added. He made the comments while talking to reporters at the Dhaka airport before boarding a private airlines flight for Sylhet around 10:30am on Wednesday. He was released from the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka in the morning. Dr Zafar Iqbal further said: "My health is good. The doctor has asked me to come on March 18 for a follow-up." The academic and eminent writer was undergoing treatment at the Critical Care Unit of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka since March 3, when he was attacked at a program organized by SUST’s department of electrical and electronic engineering in Sylhet. After receiving initial treatment in Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, Zafar was flown to the CMH in a private helicopter, where he underwent various tests and treatment from specialists before being released.
