Met office forecasts dry weather over country

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9am on Saturday, said a met office release on Friday. Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from mid-night to morning, it added. Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of Rajshahi and Noagaon. It may continue and spread over adjacent areas. Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. Country's highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 28.2 degrees Celsius at Jessore and lowest temperature on Friday was recorded 7.7 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur. The sunsets at 5:40pm on Friday and rises at 6:42am on Saturday in Dhaka.
