Six banks donate blankets to PM’s relief fund for cold-affected people

Six private commercial banks have donated blankets to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund to support the poor and cold-hit people of the country. The banks are NCC Bank Limited, Mercantile Bank Limited, Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, City Bank Limited and Prime Bank Limited. NCC Bank Chairman Md Nurun Newaz Salim, Mercantile Bank Chairman AKM Shaheed Reza, Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited Abdus Samad Labu, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Chairman Arastoo Khan, City Bank Chairman Mohammed Shoeb and Prime Bank Chairman Azam J Chowdhury were present during the handover of the relief items to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release.
