Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said Bangladesh will not be provoked by Myanmar, despite repeated violation of its airspace by Myanmarese drones and helicopters.
He made the statement while distributing relief goods to the ill and vulnerable residents of his village at Companiganj upazila in Noakhali on Saturday.
The Awami League general secretary said the government has been tackling the Rohingya refugee issue cautiously.

Earlier, on September 15, Bangladesh lodged a strong protest with the Dhaka-based embassy of Myanmar after the latter’s military drones and helicopters repeatedly violated Bangladesh’s airspace in Cox’s Bazar the previous week.
The protest was lodged amid the influx of Rohingya refugees entering Bangladesh to escape persecution in Rakhine state.
The country has expressed deep concern over these acts of atrocity against the ethnic group.
