State Minister Palak made AIESEC chairman
ICT Division State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak has been appointed the chairman of AIESEC’s Advisory Board in Bangladesh, at a signing ceremony held on Tuesday at the BCC Center in Agargaon. AIESEC is an independent non-political and not-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of higher education institutions. AIESEC develops the potential of young people across 122 countries and territories. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers  them the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to garner relevant skills. Palak is working with the government to develop the digital future of Bangladesh. The government has already implemented several exemplary initiatives through youth engagement in order to create a digital ecosystem. Palak said: “I am truly honoured to be a crucial part of AIESEC. Our government is diligently working to represent Bangladesh as a digital country and also making it a part of the ‘Global Village’. This will only be possible if we engage the country’s youth and create opportunities for them to work closely with our innovative projects.”
