The train communications of Sylhet has been resumed with the other parts of country after four days halt due a bridge collapse in Habiganj’s Madhubpur.
“The reparation of the Itakhali bridge was finished on Monday noon,” Saiful Islam, station master at Shaistaganj station told the Dhaka Tribune.
“Therefore, rail communications became normal afterward on the route.
The railway bridge in Itakhali area collapsed On March 29 due to flash flood caused by heavy rain, halting the rail links between Sylhet and rest of the country.
