Rescuers recovered five more bodies from the Meghna River in Narayanganj on Sunday, raising the death toll from Thursday’s trawler capsize incident to 16.
The deceased are Babul Hossain, 45, Kamal Haowladar, 22, Ismail Hossain 23, Faruk Mia, 40, and Devdas, 30. They all were residing in Dhaka's Rampura area.
Sonargaon police station Sub-Inspector Maksudur Rahman said that a BIWTA rescue team had identified the floating bodies and recovered them on Sunday afternoon.

“The rescue team is continuing their search to find the rest of the missing bodies,” the SI added.
Some 30-40 people from Rampura started for Matlab of Chandpur to join a religious function at the shrine of Beltoli Solaiman Shah Thursday afternoon. The trawler sank near Kishoreganj char area of Sonargaon due to stormy weather.
The district administration of Narayanganj earlier announced Tk20,000 for each deceased.
