The Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) has responded to Friday's suicide blast at RAB’s Ashkona camp by beefing up security measures at airports across the country.
“We didn't issue any alert, but have taken extra precautions at the airports to ensure there's no security breach,” CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Ehsanul Gani Choudhury told the Dhaka Tribune.
