The minister said: “We are working on developing the quality of education and the reading process should be simple and enjoyable to make classrooms joyful.” “Over 40 thousand schools have been operating multimedia classrooms across the country,” he added. We are thinking on reducing the number of subjects in the school exams, Nahid said. Nahid also said: “Teachers are being appointed under the Secondary Education Quality and Access Enhancement Project (SEQAEP) to the schools where students find it difficult to pass in Mathematics and English. Such recruitment process would take the pass rate higher in these two subjects.” However, learning materials for students and teaching guidelines for teachers will soon be incorporated in the NCTB website.
