The accused is still at large and threatening the victim and her family despite a written complaint was filed with Jhenaidah Shadar police station regarding the incident.
According to the written complaint the victim was molested several times by the stalker Mokhles Mondol.
Subsequently, Mokhles attempted on harassing the victim while she was working alone on the field. When he failed to do so, he brutally hacked her as well as snatched a gold chain from the victim's neck.
After hearing the victim's scream the locals rushed toward the location and rescued her. Meanwhile, Mokhles escaped from the location.
The victim filed a complaint against Mokhles.
Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Harendranath Sharkar said: “We have received a complaint regarding the matter.
“We will consider this complaint as a deposition and take legal action against the accused,” he added.
