The attack claimed the life of one Ansar and injured three more, while the knife-wielding attacker was shot at by security forces to neutralise the threat he posed.
One Ansar member was killed and three other security personnel at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport were injured when a person in a janitor’s uniform attacked them with a knife on Sunday evening.
The camera is placed to the south of the airport's gate 4.
The attacker, who calls himself Shihab, is seen on the footage charging at Shohag Ali, the Ansar member who died from the knife wounds sustained.
Shohag Ali is seen running away behind a silver microbus. At one point he bumps against a CNG and drops to the ground.
A commotion is seen in front of gate 4 which is not clear on the footage. This is the ensuing scuffle in which the attacker was caught, injuring three other Ansar members in the process.
Several people are seen running away from the source of commotion.
