Case filed for killing Ansar man in Dhaka airport

A case has been filed over the killing of an Ansar member at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport a day ago. Ashraful Islam, platoon commander-3, filed a case on Monday evening with the airport police station in Ansar killing incident, Ruhul Amin Sagor, assistant commissioner of police (airport zone) confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune. Mentionable, one Ansar member was killed and three other security personnel at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport were injured when a person in a cleaner's uniform attacked them with a knife on Sunday evening. The injured were rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital, where Sohagh Ali, 32, succumbed to his injuries, Kanchan Banerjee, in-charge of Ansar outpost of the airport, told the Dhaka Tribune. “The incident took place around 7:10pm at gate 4 on the second floor of the international departure terminal,” said Maj Gen Mizanur Rahman Khan, director general of Ansar.
