As of now, all Ansar members present at DMCH at the time of rape have been withdrawn from the hospital.
Dhaka District Commander of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Saifullah Rasel confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Thursday.
Commander Saifullah said: “Since rape allegations have been made, it is best to deploy new Ansar men at the hospital to start afresh.”

“A new platoon has already been deployed there,” he added.
A meeting was also held on Thursday afternoon at the Ansar and VDP Headquarters in Khilgaon where the rape allegation was scheduled for priority but this correspondent found no updates on the matter till the time of filing this report.
A total of 20 Ansar members were withdrawn from DMCH camp and two new platoon commanders – Abdur Rouf and Nazrul Islam have joined the camp.
Nazrul Islam said that gradually all the members would be transferred from the hospital.
Meanwhile, the victim’s brother told the Dhaka Tribune that he would like to take his sister back to Comilla if the concerned authorities released her.
The rape surviour is currently undergoing treatment at a victim support centre in Tejgaon.
Shahbag OC Abu Bakar Siddique said one of accused had been arrested and others will be arrested soon.
