Drug dealer killed in Narayanganj 'gunfight'
The gunfight took place around 2am on Sunday in SO road area. The deceased is Delwar Hossain Delu alias master Delu, 39, son of Jamir Bepari. He was wanted in two dozen cases of robbery, illegal drugs, arms, and murders. ASP Shibly Sadique, CPC-1 commander of RAB-11 said: “We arrested Delu and took him with us to recover arms and drugs. His cohorts then opened fire on us.” “In retaliation, RAB members fired back, leaving Delu injured. He was sent to Narayanganj 100-bed Hospital where doctor declared him dead,” the ASP added. He further said huge arms and cocktails had been recovered in the drive and details would be informed at a press briefing later in the day.
