Detained couple assigned squads for JMB recruits

RAB Legal and Media Wing chief Mufti Mahmud Khan shared the information at a press conference in Dhaka Wednesday afternoon. He said the couple would also handle the paper works for those within the outfit needed to go abroad for training. When the recruits returned the duo was among those who would assign them jobs. “If any member of the newly formed faction needed to go abroad then they [Nahid and Aminul] were the ones who made arrangements for it. They also handled the passport works.” Earlier in the day, two couples – Md Aminul Islam and his wife Nahid Sultana, and Md Shariful Islam alias Mahmud, his wife Marjiya Akter Sumi – were detained from Narayanganj and Dhaka.
