36th BCS written tests begin Sept 1

Written tests for the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will begin on September 1. Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) issued a notification regarding the exam date on Thursday. The tests will be held simultaneously at all examination venues in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions. Details about the venue and routine will be announced later, stated the notice, signed by BCS Examination Controller AIM Nesar Uddin. The BPSC also published the results of 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination on Wednesday. In the preliminary exam, a total of 13,830 job-seekers qualified for written tests. A total of 211,326 candidates took the 200-mark preliminary examination held on January 8 for 2,180 posts.
