BNP leader hurt in Dinajpur road crash

BNP Standing Committee Member Mahbubur Rahman has been injured in a road accident in Dinajpur on Saturday. The former army chief suffered head injury in the accident and was admitted to Zia Heart Foundation in Dinajpur. Dinajpur BNP Vice-President Khalekuzzaman Babu said a human haulier hit Rahman's car from behind at Doshmile on Rangpur-Dinajpur Highway around 4pm. Mahbub was on his way to Syedpur airport, coming from his in-laws' house in Thakurgaon, to catch a flight to Dhaka, he said. Doctor Badrul Ahsan, referring to a CT scan report of Rahman, said he was out of danger.
