Two renowned faces found the deck stacked against them when they took their clout to the streets during the protests

What defines a celebrity?

YouTuber Salman Muqtadir tried to share a Facebook Live video with his audience to shed light on the ongoing protest. He tried to give a rousing speech to the students. Like a prank from a cartoon, it blew up in his face.

The students rejected him vehemently, and asked him to walk away towards the opposite direction.

To his dismay, the whole thing was captured thousands sharing active audience.

Another figure, Solaiman Shukhon, who claimed to be “just Shukhon” only three years back, described himself as a “Facebook celebrity” so that the protesters would let his car drive past.

Unfortunately for him, it backfired spectacularly.

Note, Salman was briefly detained by the police and released afterwards.
