Indian mining lord Gali Janardhan Reddy, a former Karnataka minister changed the wedding game forever, one invitation at a time.
While people seeks refuge from a card designer, Reddy went full throttle with a production team, musician, lyricist, director, costume designer and other hundreds of people to create an invitation for his daughter’s wedding.

Running for longer than a minute, the video features Reddy, his wife, daughter Brahmani, his son and even the groom Rajeev Reddy. Janardhan Reddy and his wife are lip-synching to a Kannada song "Atithi Devo Bhava" that seems straight out of a film. The song was specially composed for the wedding.
Invoking auspicious blessings, the song calls relatives, friends and loved ones to come and share in the joyous occasion. There is a regular printed invite inside the box with all the necessary details. But even before get to it, the LCD screen in the lid autoplays the video.
There’s also buzz that actors Shah Rukh Khan, Prabhudeva, Tamannah and Katrina Kaif may perform at the wedding scheduled for November 16.
Gali Janardhana Reddy, born on 11 January 1967 is an Indian politician with the BSR Congress party and one of the richest politicians of Karnataka. He and his older brother G Karunakara Reddy were ministers in the BJP government headed by BS Yeddyurappa till July 2011. Months later, Janardhana Reddy was arrested by the CBI, spent three years in jail in connection with illegal mining. He was released last year on bail.
The wedding is slated for November 16 at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru.
