Syrian volunteer cries as infant survives

A Syrian-coalition led airstrike dropped a load of barrel bombs on September 29. Unlike most bombing run, this has garnered a bit more attention than most.

In the wake of this recent strike, video footage of a Syrian Civil Defense volunteer Abu-Kifah, has emerged that shows him shedding tears unabashedly at a miraculous act of survival.

The clip shows rescue workers rushing into an ambulance. The baby in question is seen covered with blood and dust.

The rescue worker's attempts to resuscitate the baby did not go in vain as she began to wail upon being cleaned.

The baby is later taken to the hospital for further treatment.

In a time when opposing forces are vehemently refusing to abide ceasefire and basic human rights, a handful of people rush headlong into danger to save as many as they can.
