Status of US-Bangla Nepal crash victims

On Monday, a US-Bangla Airlines flight crashed while landing at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport.

There were 67 passengers and four flight crew on-board the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft, among whom 37 were Bangladeshis, 32 were Nepalis, one Chinese and one Maldivian nationals.

The latest death toll stands at 49, and can only go up as the identities of the many dead bodies are confirmed. Most of the bodies are burnt and charred from the flames, delaying identification. The latest status update is a compilation of reports from Bangladesh State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, aircraft flight itinerary, medical manifests, and confirmed reports from Nepal. The unconfirmed are suspected to be deceased. As reports come in, the toll will be updated.
