Rolling out the red carpet for the 33 participants in the motorcycle rally, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said: “The initiative taken by the Assam Rifles for strengthening the solidarity between India, Bangladesh and Myanmar is indeed praise worthy and comes at an opportune moment. The participants have been acquainted with the culture of our neighbouring countries and can share their experiences with the people here.” “A good relationship with neighbouring countries is necessary. In this case, this rally has helped to boost our friendship with our neighbours further,” added the Chief Minister. The motorcycle rally began on October 30, 2017. The journey began from Shillong to Sylhet and subsequently headed towards Akhaura and finally landed in Agartala.
