Malaysian gets 48 years for raping daughter 623 times

The Special Court for Sexual Crimes in Malaysia sentenced a person to 48 years in prison for 623 counts of rape charges which he carried out upon his teenage daughter for over two years, The Star reports. The depraved 36-year-old pleaded guilty at the court on Friday. The judge presiding over the case sentenced him 28 years for committing incest, physical sexual assault without intercourse and abusing, neglecting and sexually abusing the girl. The court further sentenced the accused another 20 years in jail for sodomising the victim. Furthermore, he is to be subjected to 24 cane strikes. The case findings revealed that the convict and his wife divorced with their three children. The eldest, a 13-year-old girl was living with the father. They went to Mecca for hajj in April 2015 when he first sexually assaulted her. The girl was too afraid to speak out initially because of the constant abuse and threats. But when the convict attempted to convince his ex-wife to let the other two daughters live with him in July 2017, the girl went to her mother and revealed the extent of the monstrosity. The mother immediately filed a case with the police who acted promptly.
